Residence Corsignani is an old farm built in the 15th Century and now renovated into a beautiful holiday complex. It is positioned in one of the most beautiful and charming parts of Tuscany. Set in a valley amid medieval villages with historic Castles and Churches around. In the hills above is where the river Arno has its origins. Historically the area was made famous by the poet Dante Alighieri and the Della Robbia. With the battle of Campaldino between the Guelphs and the Ghibellines taking place here.

The farm is set in the middle of a large National Park with century old woodlands where you can walk, take a picnic, or just take a moment to sit and enjoy a book or spend time with nature in its natural surroundings. Enjoying the peace and quite this area has to offer.

Corsignani is just 50km from the beautiful city of Florence, 40km from Arezzo and easily within reach for day trips are the famous cities of Siena, Perugia, San Gimignano, Cortona, Assisi and many more.

At Residence Corsignani we have two different types of accommodation, there are individual Villas and there are apartments within the main buildings of the old farm complex. Both have the facilities for cooking, large living rooms in which to relax, many with fireplaces, all have well equipped Bathrooms. All of the renovation work both internally and externally has been carried out to the highest standards, retaining many original Tuscan features. Where possible recycled and reclaimed original materials have been used in the work such as the original hand made Florentine terracotta flooring, the original chestnut woodwork and original stone for the walls.

Where possible original features such as Bread ovens and open fireplaces for cooking have been preserved enabling those who stay here to make Pizzas and cook steaks on the open fire during the long summer evenings.

The Villas and apartments are set in very quiet positions in the Tuscan countryside. There are many different activities available to you during your stay. There are many beautiful tracks to enjoy by foot or by mountain bike, alternatively we can organise horse riding for all abilities in the near by fields and woodlands. At Corsignano we have the facilities to play Tennis, or nearby to can enjoy a round of Golf (5km). In the grounds around the park there are many pieces of art, we can organise guided tours of these and even arrange to meet some of the artists who created them.

On the farm there is a large Swimming pool where Sun lounges, chairs and Gazebos are provided for you to relax and soak up the sun taking the occasional dip to refresh you. For the younger guests we have a large play area with table tennis, Volleyball and Basketball as well as swings for the very young.

Whilst the summer is obviously the most popular time to visit the farm corsignani the spring (March to June) is also beautiful with nature really beginning to come to life and it is full of colour. We can organise trips for you to wine cellars including guided tours and wine tasting of some of the best wines in Europe if not the world. If you want to brush up on your golf then we can organise group or individual lessons at the nearby golf course.

Autumn is also a really beautiful time in Tuscany when the trees are changing colour, the grapes are being harvested and the olives are being picked from the trees. You can enjoy a local chestnut festival and taste the many recipes using chestnuts. There are many things to do in this season, you can visit oil mills producing the extra Virgin Olive oil and even try your hand at picking them. We can organise guided walks through the woods where you will discover chestnuts and the famous Porcini mushrooms. We can also organise cookery courses for groups using many local ingredients cooked in the traditional Tuscan way.

Our tuscany villas, farmhouse and accommodation are available for short term vacation rental or for longer stays, for groups of all sizes we can offer tuscan villas, farmhouses and apartments for 2 to 18 and more people. Rentals are normally Saturday to Saturday.
